SUNA Global

What does it mean to be human on Earth right now?

SUNA Global is a translocal learning and creation program: a curated ecosystem of people whose lived experience and practices offer different, credible responses to this question. Each participant develops their own response, in the circumstances of their own life, through learning, reflection, experimentation and creation.

Who it’s for

For people at a threshold

SUNA Global offers personalized journeys connecting your questions with complementary practitioners and the continuity of a Host. It supports belonging, self-authorship and contribution to shared futures.

We pay particular attention to people in transitions: of identity, vocation, relationships, place, purpose or life direction. A threshold is a time when something familiar is changing and what comes next is still taking shape.

You don’t need a fully defined question to begin.

  6. 6Harvest learning and decide what comes next

Six open domains

Where the question lives

Self
What truly matters to me? What do I want to let go of?
Body
Rest, energy, movement, health.
Time
Rhythms, priorities, how I spend my days.
Place
Where I live and what connects me to it.
Other people
Family, friendship, work, community.
The more-than-human world
Water, soil, plants, animals, climate.

SUNA Global works across places and at a distance. Barichara is the initial proposed node for residential immersions.

Two pathways

Direct contact with a practitioner

You work independently with someone from the ecosystem, in a format you agree between you.

A SUNA journey with a Host

A Host helps you design the route, combine complementary practitioners, integrate what you live and adjust the path.

The practitioner ecosystem is being formed, so we don’t publish a SUNA Global directory yet. Write to us and we’ll tell you what is possible today.

I want to explore a journey

Invitation to actors

Do you hold a practice that responds to this question?

People and organizations—mentors, facilitators, therapists, artists, place-based projects—can join the ecosystem we are forming.

What you can offer and receive

  • Contribute mentoring, methods, bounded processes or situated experiences.
  • Gain collective visibility and connections with people interested in what you offer.
  • Take part in learning journeys and learn from other actors.
  • Collaborate across practices while keeping your independent identity.
  • Explore becoming a Host: inviting people from your own networks and accompanying their journeys, with roles and conditions agreed.

These are opportunities within the ecosystem; remuneration and collaboration conditions are agreed during integration. Submitting the form expresses interest and does not imply automatic admission.
